CEP Methodology - A Six-Step Process
Step 1: Identify Needs
This process includes identification of the gap between the current skills of the students and the skills required in the management field. This analysis helps in finding out the grey areas of student’s skills and to decide and design the training modules to develop those skills like communication skills, listening skills, presentation skills, corporate etiquettes and many more.
Step 2: Module Designing
The overall module is divided into two part that is the basic module and advance module. The basic module will give the basic knowledge about the required skills. The advance module will give the advance knowledge and practice of the required skills. A student will go to advance module after a successful completion of the basic module.
Step 3: Deliver
Formal lectures are conducted by industrial professionals for students to orient and educate them about different functions, corporate practices, and to equip them with right skills and knowledge. Lectures include guest lectures, seminar, and workshop and off field training.
Step 4: Practice
After conducting scheduled lectures, seminar, and workshop and off-field training, students are made to participate in practice session i.e. they are given situations and cases on which they have to work in groups and find a solution to the problem, give suggestions etc. Students apply their learning taken at lectures, seminars, workshop etc.
Step 5: Assessment
Each session is concluded with an assessment and a feedback report. Assessment is done on Student’s behaviour, performance, knowledge and skill.
Step 6: Evaluation of Result
The final evaluation is done after the completion of a module and final result gets declared. Those students who will clear basic module will be shifted to advance module.
