About Doctoral Program
Our doctoral program is approved by Savitribai Phule Pune University to develop research scholars to think critically, identify opportunities and converting these opportunities into published research papers and books. IICMR follows the rules laid down by Savitribai Phule Pune University for admission to degree of Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.). Process
Candidates desirous of seeking admission at IICMR's PGRC need to appear for the entrance test conducted by the SPPU. The list of candidates declared successful in Paper-l & II will be published by the P.G. Admission Section of the SPPU. Candidates will have to mention the Research Centre of their choice for the admission.
The interview and the guide allotment will be done by IICMR's PGRC as per the rules for degree of Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.)

Student can access online 'EBSCO HOST' data base. This data base is the world's largest source of full text International Journals in all disciplines of management, abstracts and indexing.
Institute publishes its biannual ISSN Journal I4 with ISSN no 0975-2757 depicting 4 I's as Institute Industry Integration with Innovative Strategies. Main theme of Research Journal, I4 is "Innovation in Information Technology & Management". Double Blind Peer Reviewed Journal.

IICMR Post Graduate Research Centre (PGRC) was established in the year 2013. IICMR's Post Graduate Research Centre (PGRC) is approved and affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University (Formerly known as University of Pune) for Ph.D. degree. At present 08 students are pursuing their PhD under IICMR PGRC.

Instructions for Ph.D. Admission interviews
Candidates should register themselves at VIM, Kondhwa as soon as they report as per the above schedule.
At the time of registration candidates shall submit (in a folder, sequentially organized as per order given below) attested copy of each of the following documents (whichever applicable) :
- Admit card.
- NET/SET/GATE/JRF/Phil/Passport (Certificate on the basis of which candidate has sought exemption from paper-I and paper-II).
- Post-graduation degree mark sheet and certificate.
- Post-graduation mark sheet and certificate.
- Caste Certificate (as applicable)
- Valid - Caste Validity (as applicable)
- Valid - Non-Creamy Layer certificate (as applicable)
- Industry Work experience certificates (organized chronologically)
- Approval letters (for faculty members) - (organized chronologically)
- Marriage Certificate (for lady applicants)
- Gap Certificate (as applicable)
- Transfer Certificate and/or Migration Certificate
- Candidates shall also carry all the above documents in original at the time of the interview.
- andidates are required to bring a two page bio data.
The candidates will be evaluated on the basis of their performance in the interview, on the following parameters:
- Knowledge of Research Methodology. (10 marks)
- Preparedness of candidate for research work to be undertaken.(10 marks)
- Communication skill of the candidate. (10 marks)
- Depth of understanding of the subject. (5 marks)
- Knowledge of the business environment: includes candidate's awareness about the current trends in respective area. (5 marks)
- Domain experience related to research area. (10 marks)
On the basis of performance of the candidate in the interview, the guides will be allocated to the students as per the vacancy. The list of selected candidates and allotted guides will be displayed on VIM website after the results are approved by the University of Pune
